The following privacy policy will outline how Engage Consulting Limited will collect and use your personal data.  Engage Consulting Limited are independent advisors who are experts in the electricity and gas Energy Market Arrangements.

How do we collect your information?

On the “Contact Us” page of this website we collect personal contact information from you when you complete the form. By opting in you will be added to our active customer list. By being on the active customer list you may be contacted occasionally via the website or email for direct marketing purposes by Engage.

In addition, we may collect personal information from you in our capacity as advisors – i.e. when our business is in discussion with your business about providing advisory services or when we are delivering advisory services to your business.

This will be by way of a combination of information provided in writing in a letter or email.  Data is also collected through discussions held in meetings, at conferences or over the telephone.  We always record in writing information collected verbally in order that a record can be kept of what we know.  Sometimes, data can be provided by you via a third party. The data protection protocols of these providers will ensure that this information is only released to us on your instructions.

How we use your information?

In the normal course of business and in order for us to provide suitable advice, it is necessary for us to collect personal data about the people we seek to advise.

Also, we may wish to contact you about other services that we think may be of interest to you.

We also use your personal information to provide details to our third party service providers to ensure we are able to fulfil our contractual obligations, for example our accountants for the purposes of processing invoices.

Engage Consulting Limited will never share your information for marketing purposes with any other companies.

In order for us to do any of the above, we must collect and store your data firstly for correspondence purposes. We will ensure that the information collected will only be used for its intended purpose and does not constitute an invasion of your privacy.

We may need to pass your details on to third parties as part of our remit in providing you advisory services. Any third parties who we do pass your details onto are obliged to store your details securely and only process them if responding to an identified need or request.

Processing data constitutes as collecting, storing and using. We will process this data in accordance with the GDPR. We will do our utmost to keep your information accurate and up to date and not keep it longer than is necessary.  We may issue occasional reminders to all customers to keep their contact details up to date and will update them accordingly.

We will only ever contact you when necessary, if you are subscribed to our marketing mailers or when you have requested that we do so. We do not mean at any point to be intrusive or ask for unnecessary information. We will do our best to ensure that the information we hold is as secure as possible to minimise the risk of unauthorised access or disclosure.

  • A current Photo Driving Licence;
  • A bank/credit card statement or utility bill showing your name and current address dated within the last three months.
